Rev. Rodolfo Sumaling

Prior to entering the clergy, Rodolfo Sumaling, AKA "Rudy Sumaling", was a Registered Engineer in varying capacities in the Philippines for 18 years. Afterwards, he found his calling to be part of the Christian Church, enrolling and graduating from the Wesley Divinity School in Cabanatuan City, Philippines. Rudy worked as an Adjunct Seminary Professor at Seminaries in the northern part of Luzon, and finished his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy in the Philippines with highest honors, therefore quipping him with 21 years of experience of pastoral work in the Philippines, 8 of which he was District Superintendent. 

After his emigration to the U.S. with his wife, Perlita, in 2012, Rudy Sumaling worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Asian Americans Advancing Justice, formerly known as the Asian Pacific Legal Center in 2012, Church Administrator at Wilshire UMC from 2012-2014, and Associate Pastor from 2014-2015 at Wilshire UMC, and as Lead Pastor at Rosewood UMC from 2015 to the present.
